“Dinamicamente 2.0”
Socialization and pre-employment training for individuals facing psychiatric disorders, intellectual disabilities, and social barriers

THE CHALLENGE
Individuals with intellectual disabilities or psychiatric conditions often face loneliness and a decline in their remaining skills, leading to isolation and inadequate support. This isolation results in a gradual loss of independence, affecting both social interactions and daily tasks. The absence of opportunities to enhance work and interpersonal skills exacerbates the problem, leaving these individuals vulnerable to social exclusion.
THE GOAL
This project focuses on fostering social connections and maintaining the remaining skills and relational independence of the participants, while supporting their development of professional skills. With the inclusion of individuals from the local community, the private sector, and Psychiatric Rehabilitation Communities, as well as managed apartments, the project aims to provide real opportunities for social and vocational integration. This approach encourages greater independence and active involvement in the community, leading to an enhanced quality of life for the participants.
THE IMPACT
The project has implemented socialization and pre-employment pathways to support and integrate participants through a variety of activities, with varying levels of complexity based on manual skills. These include third-party production, simple and complex assembly, work readiness training, printing t-shirts, creating gadgets and hats, crafting handmade items, packaging teas, pad printing of gadgets, and packaging watercolors. As part of the Life Re-Shoes project, Innovando’s cooperative users applied QR codes on shoes, linking physical objects (shoes) to digital content. This process enables monitoring the recycled material flow, ensuring its reintegration into production processes. MEA users also assisted in preparing materials for stores.
